The Expedition memo books by Field Notes are designed with exploration and adventure in mind. Their covers and pages are made from Yupo paper, a synthetic paper that's tearproof, waterproof, and extremely durable. The front cover is a highly visible bright orange color, and the back is a deep black, with a topographic map of Antarctica subtly printed across the covers. These notebooks have even survived an expedition to the South Pole with explorer Ben Saunders.
The Expedition notebooks have dot grid paper inside. Note that the nonporous paper does not absorb ink the same way that conventional paper does, so they'll work best with ballpoint pens, permanent marker, or pencil.
